Firebox Perimeter Ash Brush

Inspired by RRP... I put together this for cleaning the ash & chips from the cavity around the outside of the firebox. It's a steel-braided 5ft dishwasher feed hose and an aquarium brush. I twisted the loop end of the brush around the hose then whipped it on tight with some copper armature wire (you can just see then end of that poking out near the end of the hose). Naturally I finished it off with duct tape.
