Another Egg in the Family

Just got back from Atlanta - visited Larry at the BGE store.....he was wearing a gold chain with Cat's last baby back rib bone on it from Eggtoberfest!! Bought a small egg to go with mini & large, the new daisy wheel slide top that fits very tight on the small, eggnest, temperature gauge & cover...Larry also talked me into a bag of mesquite lump charcoal...says it's very mild...picked up one of his recipes---next weekend going to try his chuck roast...on way back home stopped in social circle at blue willow inn....it was great - buffet style..if you're from around here, need to go if you haven't been.[p]YB

YB,[p]You Dawg! [p]I hope you didn't get the one I was eye balling to purchase next month. I told Larry to save that one for me:~) I am really anticipating adding a small to my set up for flexibility. I know you are going to love it and I will be waiting to hear how you put it to use.[p]If you try that chuck roast recipe of his, I would love to know how it turns out. He gave me a copy when I was last in but, I haven't gotten around to doing it yet.[p][p]

Congrats on the new egg. That is my next step to go with
my mini & large. Now you can cook up a double batch of
those chicken & shrimp goodies. As for Larry's chain, I
do believe he collected all of Cat's rib bones. He then
sells them for big bucks as a one of a kind original.
He got the idea from smooth Kenny G. So I hear anyway!!

Thanks,Bryan only lives a couple of miles from me,i want to get him over one day to teach me how to make pizza like you two did at eggfest,that's the only draw back to cooking,you don't have time to watch everybody else cook.
