The table frame is made of Redwood and the top, drawer fronts, and sides are made of Tigerwood.  The tigerwood if Class A fire rated and will stand up to the elements just as much as teak, Ipe, etc.

I wanted drawers instead of a shelf to conceal all of the accesories and wood.  I am planning to build a matching box to sit next to the table to hold charcoal and spare propane tanks for my gas grill.

That is a great looking table. I am envious of all of that storage space.

I have the regular small BGE table that I got with my large egg, but I can already see that I need a custom table like this. Great job!

Great work... A wood chunk drawer, is off the charts cool. A well thought out design award to you dude! You even bought very good drawer guides. Those are smooth... You may want to consider sealing the interior drawer parts with polyurethane too. In time they will soak in as much moisture as they can. That will cause them to start wrapping and those fancy drawer glides you used will not operate as smooth.

Came out fantastic!  What kind of finish did you put on it?  And how's the top made?  Did you edge glue those boards together?

Thank you very much for the feedback.  It is finished with General Finishes Exterior 450 (water based).  The drawers sides are made with Poplar and the drawer bottoms maple veneered plywood.  Because these are not exterior grade woods they have about 8 coats each of the varnish.

Yes, the top is edge glued.  I jointed each edge until they were perfectly straight and matched up nicely.  I had one board that got away from me during glue up as you can see in the photo.  The drawer fronts are also edge glued and came out much better than the top.
