Summer is here. Lots of Fests will sell demos (with warranty) for all you said except table and cover for $750 including a nest.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Agree with Mickey that right now and in FL, it is a buyer's market with the demos-but here is a link that may help you out:
http://www.bubbatim.com/Green_Book.php And I won't try to suggest you give it another go!
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
I will try and convince you to give it another go. Unless you are Warren Buffett a 50% loss in less then 7 months is not acceptable. You can learn how to use it if you spend time with the egg and read the forum. Look things up on YouTube. Do a little research and try again. You can learn to cook I guarantee it. If you are that convinced you don't want to try to learn then by all means what @Mickey and @lousubcap have said is dead on.
I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season. -

Unfortunately, the cost of the lifetime warranty is built in to the original sales price. Since it's non-transferable, you are going to have to eat that part. Anyone who knows anything about BGE's will know this. Your best bet is to price it high on Craig's list and hope a newbie who wants to save a few hundred on one in great shape will buy it from you. That person may not know the value of the warranty, or may not know about it at all. Everyone on here understands the cost/value of the included lifetime warranty so $200-$300 off won't compel most on here to buy it. I would never pay more than half for a used one. I've used my warranty a ton and expect i will have to again.Sorry you don't enjoy it but as with all things in life, sometimes it's better to cut your losses and spend time and resources on things you truly enjoy. If you ever change your mind, we'll be here to get you headed the right direction. If not, good luck with the saleKeepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

Now in addition to what I just said do not take the warranty thing as Bible either. Because it could just be that he'd get away with it because he has family in Corporate.....Large BGE

The caveat you mentioned does not pertain to what CT meant. He is presuming that the OP registered his warranty(which most do), not the other way around. Here is the BGE warranty statement from their website

I registered mine but what I would do is tell the buyer that if anything breaks to just bring it to me and I would take it to my dealer as if it was mine and have it fixed or replaced. I plan on selling locally.
