Did high heat steaks last night after an 8 hour salmon smoke.. I noticed, as the Egg was coming up to temperature and I closed the lid that my dome thermometer was acting weird. It went up to like 350 and then dropped down, through the 0 mark and then all the way "down" to 600.. After that it went up again to 300 and back..
Never seen anything like it!?! I assume a spring or something snapped and i need to get a new thermometer?
