Pulled Pork and Bacon BBQ Pizza...lots of pics

Dyal_SCDyal_SC Posts: 2,997

This is most definitely one of my favorite uses of Pulled Pork leftovers.

You start by painting your pizza dough with your favorite BBQ Sauce, then topped it with a little Sharp Cheddar and Pulled Pork.

Then you add some more BBQ Sauce, Chopped Bacon and Carmelized Onions...

Then more Sharp Cheddar...:)

Pretty rich, so I was only able to eat 2 slices.  :)  That just means more for breakfast tomorrow morning.

It's between pizza and tacos as my favorite uses for leftover pulled pork, and right now I want pizza. Nice work as always @Dyal_SC

My favorite is pulled pork, goat cheese, jalapeño, and arugula with BBQ as sauce
  • Looks good, doing pulled pork tonight,  and was doing pizza Wednesday,  just saw what I'm doing.  Thanks.

Used this thread for inspiration and made a similar pizza tonight.  Really, really tasty.
Sorry for the low quality cell phone pic.  First I chopped up leftover pulled pork.  Fried a package of bacon in a skillet.  Poured off all but a tablespoon or so of the bacon grease and fried up some onions.  Layered the pizza as described in the original post.  Thanks for the inspiration!  This was a great pizza.

Thank you very much ladies, gentlemen and Griffin! :D @dweebs0r, that's one tasty looking pizza! I fry my onions in a little of the bacon fat too.
