8 ct shrimp & prime filet...dayum! (Pics)

I walked by the butcher section today at Kroger and about passed out. They had 8ct gulf shrimp that were amazing! I opted to add a couple of prime filets to them for me and SWMBO. image image image image The timing of it all was a little stressful but the final product was insane. I added some 3 cheese tortellini and home made spicy Alfredo sauce.

    Well done, that is a fantastic looking plate!!
    I raise my kids, cook and golf.  When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.
    Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

    Thanks all. As for the asparagus...I wash, cut and put them in a Pyrex dish with salt, pepper & EVOO for about 30 minutes. Then take out and wrap with bacon. I cooked the Asparagus and shrimp raised direct at 350. When done, I put them on separate plates and covered with foil. I then removed the top rack and cranked the egg up to 650 for the steaks. I sear for 1 minute on each side and then shut the egg completely down, throw in a 1/2 cup of mesquite chips and cook to temp checking every few minutes with the Thermapen.

    WOW but you didn't do justice to the man shrimps, they should be cooked on the man grates   :))  =D>
