@FleurdeLirious Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to meeting you In a week. Where are you guys staying? Please understand the carry crap is all in fun (yes he carries but very responsible). Also VI is deft and you have to talk very, very loud to him.

For Salado, I got my new bad-ass cooler yesterday.  Perfect for on-route sous vide.

Pelican 45 qt (that's not me, VI)

With your new cooler if you win the Yeti I will give you $25.00 cash for it. No need in having to take it back to NO.

Anybody pops a cap in my man, I'll take my lucky stabbin' knife and cut 'em like the Mississippi river (WIIIIIIIDE AND DEEP). Problem is, I keep forgetting to bring my lucky stabbin' knife...
Did you leave it in some unlucky bastard? Maybe that's the funny smell coming from NOLA's manbearcave....

I DO NOT LURK! Don't believe him, boys (and perhaps girls). I only log on when he gives me the insistent "you gotta read this thread!" This is perhaps the 3rd or 4th time I've been on the forum on my own computer rather than reading what he's showing me. Looks like NOLA's gonna feel the sharp point of my lucky stabbin' knife real soon... @shtgunal3 -- I frequently roll my eyes when he's spending ridiculous amts of time on the forum, but as long as the fabulous food keeps rolling off the grill, my mouth's too full to complain.

Nice to meet you and welcome to the forum. You must have saint-like qualities for marrying Nola.

This makes Centex happy. Hope to see you in Salado. I'll do my very best to get there for a few hours Saturday AM.

  • BTW- I miss VI and Stike too. I talk to them both from time to time (never together :). Place has not been the same since they left. Certainly no offense to the new blood. The place is obviously in great hands and I love to see all the new energy.
