New Guy on forum

Well, not really new. I have had large egg for probably 6 years. I used to check out the forum (lurker) daily, but I think the forum was different back then. Anyway, I retired last week after 30 years with Alabama Dept. of Corrections and I plan to spend more time with the egg now. Cooked a couple of steaks last night using a version of reverse sear. Cooked direct on raised grid at 275 until 120 internal, then pulled, removed raised grid and opened up to 600 for sear until 145 internal. Great steaks. Hopefully the pics make it on.

Welcome aboard!  Steaks and pics look great.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

JW welcome to this forum. I am betting you are talking several years ago checking the forum and that forum is still working, just not the corp forum anymore.

Congrats on surviving 30 years of DOC.  I am a former LEO and I could never have dealt with what corrections guys had to put up with.
