Party que modification

Well I did my first over nighter last week and the party que battery die. Lucky me it was shorty before I checked on it and did not really affect the cook. Well tonight I added a input for a 6 volt plug in on my party que. sure someone will tell me how I could do it better but now I can us batteries or plug. Here's a few pics. Let me know what u guys think

I second MCN's comment. Not everyone cooks on the patio,right outside the kitchen. I have cookers spread around my property - not every cooker had a power outlet handy until 2 months ago.I like that the partyQ runs on batteries, but it is frustrating to run out of juice on an overnight cook while you're catching some z's.
