Ist pizza - Chicago Style
Been wanting to try a pizza since I got my egg about a month ago. My 18" cast iron skillet came in today so gave it a shot. Made the crust from a recipe my dealer gave me and baked it at 400 on my top rack for aboy 8 minutes or so. Loaded it up with provolone cheese, pepperoni, italian sausage, baby portabellas, onion, some more cheese and then the sauce. Topped off with some romano cheese and finished for another 12 minutes or so on the top rack. Pretty darn good. Needs some work but not too shabby for my first.
