Cost me all of $12 for the hole saw, had the umbrella which I don't use a whole lot anyway, now in the NW I won't get soaked while I egg!

Anyway, I just took a hole saw and drilled through both levels of my wood table and stuck an umbrella in it.

I added a Plastic Fishing Rod holder and 8" cafe umbrella to mine....just no clean burns

with the umbrella open.

Just make sure that rain storm you are cooking under doesn't come with a good size squall with be gust of wind??? Cause it will flip that table faster than you think!! Maybe causing your egg to break and spread that hot lump coal all over the place....

@Charlie Tuna, living in the NW the max wind gusts we get are 60 - 80 mph. Since I am not planning on leaving it up all the time I am not concerned, it will only be put in the table when it is raining and I egging.

My secretary gave me two of the BGE sets of lights for Christmas...tried them out....dont expect to be able to read under them.. guess i need to swap them out with LED's
