Cleaning indirect heating stone/plate?

Cooked burgers and chicken using indirect heating stone/plate but forgot to place a drip pan. Any special way to clean the stone/plate or better yet any thing I shouldn't do to clean it?

Just leave it in the egg during a clean burn. I always used a razor to scrape off the crud but after my first clean burn this weekend the razor will never come out again-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Henderson, Ky.

I don't use a drip pan and mostly cook indirectly with plat setter. It gets a little crusty, so I just flip it over and cook it all off. I just bought a rig from www.ceramicgrillstore.com . It is awesome. It came with a Lil stone that deflects heat like a champ. It has multiple layers for cocking.
