I personally think they're guilty, doubt it would be this publicized if they were not. However, I'm sure once they're convicted they'll get the axe all the way around. Innocent till proven guilty.

Unfortunately there's a lot of this in sports in general. Being an athlete doesn't make you a man. I'm tired of all of them getting a free pass. I live in mid TN but hate the Titans because of their coddling of gangsters. One and done should be the rule.

I agree completely. They're allowed from a young age to do, say and act whatever and however they want. The American public allows them to as an adult as well. Because they can shoot, run, or hit. But, I happen to believe that there is a disconnect in what people see as a real man and more importantly a real dad and what these are SUPPOSED to be. This passive male crap is ridiculous. Go buy a set of cahona's and Stand up for Something, at least to your kids. You'd see a lot of the stupid/senseless crap around this place come to halt.

Celebrities have a different set of rights than the rest of us mere mortals. The public is rather fickle if not forgiving for some of the strangest reasons, winning being among one of the most important, IMHO.

Initially, a significant majority of Eagle fans did not want to see Michael Vick play in Philly. The law and the league had forgiven him, the fans had not. After a few wins, he was a hero once again it would seem.

Should these folks be held to a higher standard? IMHO, yes. And I still think Pete Rose does not belong in the Hall of Fame.
