Ok, I have figured out most of the different names on here but I'm having a real brain fart with this one........"SWMBO". Please, someone enlighten me. I know it has something to do with the wife or girlfriend from the way it was used in the sentence.

I'm wondering what the husband of us egg lovers are called. I've been referring to him as hwmbo but that just doesn't seem right. What is the correct terminology?

HWMO - He Who Must Obey.
This has something to do with "Having no fury like a woman scorned."
If I recall correctly, SWMBO was first penned by Oscar Wilde
A poor widows son.

The masculine form is this: WISJYSHHWhen I say jump you say how high.

The mythical Queen Ayesha, star of the H. Rider Haggard adventure novel, She. The immortal Queen is all powerful, just like most wives, hence the term SWMBO - She Who Must Be Obeyed.Like the mother who states it so well in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the man may be the head household, but the woman is the neck - and tells the head where and what to look at.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!
-
Or, HWMBI - He who must be ignored.

No wonder i didn't know what that meant !!!

This is like "Wave Link", my wife will go off talking about something and go on and on and I sit there having NO idea what on earth she is talking about. When I say "what are you talking about" she will say "I thought you were on my same Wave Link. Us husbands are supposed to be mind readers also. After 44 yrs I do pretty good and I've learned to sometimes just roll with the flow, shakin my head every once in awhile.

SWMBO. Happy wife, happy life. All the same sentiment. I like to say that "I wear the pants in the family. She just picks them out and lays them on the bed for me." http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=saCAKkm6f4I&desktop_uri=/watch?v=saCAKkm6f4I
