We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. temp gauge!!!

couldnt get my temp over 200 tonite!so i thought that the fire box was blocked with lump/ash (even though i cleaned it last cook!) so as i was shutting er down,the temp started dropping,to 700!!!! the temp gauge went all the way around!!!i didnt think they could do that or that u could get the egg that hot!!!!! i was shoveling while it was warming up! should have realized it was too hot the fire looked great when i opened the lid!!!! oh well live and learn!! just wondering if this has happened to any one else? and does anyone know if this has buggered my temp gauge???? thanks!!!..............oh by the way after all was done the ribs turned out great
