Pork Belly

Want to make some bacon, but can only find frozen pork belly. Will that suffice?

    Yep. Leave it in the cryovac in your fridge for a day or two. They freeze them because short shelf life.

    I've read to get fresh, when you can.  Obvious reasons.  But I've seen both on the interwebs.

  • What are your plans, hot or cold smoke? Welcome to the forum. I am curing my second belly right now. It turns out very nice. Lots of info on here about doing it too, Others will chime in.
