We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. Bought a 7lb PR roast but at the last minute it was going to be only three of us. I cut it in half and cooked it. Smothered in mustard, Worcestershire and heavy cracked pepper and kosher salt. Indirect, 350 dome till 140 on the ends. Left loosely covered for about 30 min. The best I've cooked. Swmbo cooked the rest and chocolate covered strawberries.
I asked her for a plain plate so my pics would look better...got the look.
