Mini big green egg's use

For those of you who have a mini big green egg....I know there has been a post in the past about this but is there a way to do indirect cooking? Or is the mini mainly for grilling direct? Also what are the best attachments to purchase for the mini either from CGS or wherever? What are the best things to cook on the mini? I have been encouraging my wife to go shopping more so I can keep tabs on how much she spends so when her tab is close to the price of the mini, it would only be fair for me to do a little shoppingyself to search for a compact companion for my large. Thanks everyone.

Lots of pics & vids of mini set ups & cooks here: http://eggheadforum.com/discussion/comment/1273853/

Basically if you can fit it on a Mini, it can cook it. It's very versatile like any Egg.

I wok, use the wok to fry also. Use CI to griddle. Do pizzas and indirect. If you can do it on a Ex Large you can do it on a Mini.

Ceramic grill store has a mini woo. That and two 8.5" pizza stones that you can get on amazon and you are on your way.

Try looking up the magic mini movies on you tube. There are 5 of them and you will see plenty of cooks.

Mini woo with ceramic stone from amazon, CI grill grate from BGE...perfect combo IMHO.

I use my mini for steaks, chops, burgers, dogs, fish. Many more possibilities but I have only had mine since November and have a large and medium. When the weather gets warm here in GA the mini will reside on the lake for dock recreation!

The mini is a great tool.  I use mine to sear mainly, but my favorite use for it is to cook scallops on the round cast iron griddle.  Good stuff!  I'm sure Mickey has a link to the the lodge griddle for the mini as he provided it for me.

Does the little stand come with the mini or is that separate? I am close to pulling the trigger.

It fits the Mini Woo like made for it. Gets real hot and fry anything from fried burgers to scallops.

I've done all kinds of stuff, basically anything you can cook on a skillet or griddle.  Scallops, bacon, eggs, burgers, sausage patties, thin/breakfast chops, onions, peppers.....if it will fit griddle it!
