Dr. BBQ's Crab Cakes and Steak Sandwiches on Garlic Bread

Decided to try out Dr. BBQ's recipes for the big game today...

 

First up the crab cakes...sorry, I didn't take any prepping photos, as it's sort of a messy prep.

Next, the Kaiser rolls got brushed with some Garlic Butter, then they grill up for a few seconds...

Next up the Steaks....they were thin cut Ribeyes that had some great marbelization.

Served up with a little Tartar Sauce on the side for the Crab Cakes.  :)

    Crab cakes are great with an aioli sauce.

    Blend this up in a food processor

    Aioli:

    • 2 garlic cloves
    • 1/2 cup roasted red bell peppers, drained, patted dry
    • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

    Gardenia (Griffen)... The bun held up just fine... And added some killer extra flavors as you bit into the sandwich. :)
