Ok, so trying to decide if we should get a wood or metal pizza peel, any thoughts? Thanks everyone in advance!

I bought an epicurean pizza peel that I am happy with. I was a bit worried that the bevel wouldn't be good enough but I haven't had a problem with getting under the pizzas to lift them out. A bonus with this type of peel is that it make a great cutting board.

If you can swing the cash, Superpeel is awesome. No need for cornmeal or a ton of flour. Perfect pizza drop every time.LBGE, Weber OTG w/ Rotisserie, Weber Genesis S-330, Chargriller Duo, AR-15, AK-47

I'm with @JerkChicken the Super Peel is the easiest way to not stress over making the dough and getting it on the egg without sticking to the counter or peel or having cornmeal / extra flour making a mess and burning on your pizza stone. When I am doing pizza parties the kids get a kick out of putting the pizza on the peel after they add their own toppings.I use a metal one found at a restaurant supply store to spin it on the egg and take it off. That way when making multiple pizzas one can be getting it from counter to the egg and one can be for the cooking / taking off the egg. We almost always are doing multiple pizzas and have found a nice rotation to keep everything going while the fire is burning hot. Check out my post where I did 13 pizzas if your interested.
