Well..finally got a chance to break in the new Egg that was bought last weekend. Did a spatchcock chicken with olive oil and dizzy pig on it. Cooked indirect at 350° for 1.5 hours, took off the fire when internal temp reached 170°. I must say, that was some of the moistest chicken I have ever had. My wife was skeptical about it until she tried it, now I think she's going to have me make dinner on the Egg from now on. I cannot wait to do my next cook, thinking of heading out to the store tomorrow to get maybe a pork butt or a tenderloin. A shout out to everyone on here who gave me some advice earlier in the week... it was definitely appreciated. Pictures of the chicken to follow.... as soon as I find where my kids put the USB cord.
