That looks fantastic! I like the idea of braising a cut like that in chili..it's similar to how Italian grandmas make their sauce/gravy with pork ribs braising in it.
Very strange looking "ox-tail" indeed. For a name that would be as mouth filling as the pics show the chili to be, call it "tough but tasty chunk of beef w. a lot of bone and some lamb in a cpasicum sauce, etc"
