As I am sitting her waiting for the moving company to arrive(originally scheduled for 9 am now they tell me 12pm. Never used a moving comapny before so I guess this is normal??) I am interested if anyone has pics to post showing their Egg in a back seat of their car. I know this is silly and a long shot, but IM planning on purchasing an egg at the PA fest and want to see if its possible to transport it in my car before I go ahead an rent an SUV.
Thanx,

Smokin' Todd,[p]I don't have any pics, but I've done it many times going to tailgate parties. In my SUV, I just get several bungee cords to hold my large steady in the back without tipping over. If you're talking about a medium or small, I just transport them in the back seat with the seatbelt on like a passenger. Just make sure to place a towel on the seat and that the Egg has cooled down enough. Never had one problem.[p]Snoopy Dog Dog

Snoopy Dog Dog,
I know I can do with the smaller sizes, but the large may not be possible for a car. Was hoping someone attempted and was successful.

Smokin' Todd,[p]I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to do it that way with a large as long as it fit in your car door. What kind of car is it?[p]SDD

Smokin' Todd,
I do not have a picture, yet I have moved my large several times in the front seat of my car. The seat belt just baaaaaarely fits around it. To make it easier to handle and less likely to break, I remove everything from side and place into the trunk.
Warning, you are more than likely going to get the wonderful aroma of smoke. But that a good thing!
