<p />I just had to give my new mini something good. So i gave it a cast iron cooking grid. I cut the circle out from a lodge preseasoned cooking grid.
happy cooking to all

    spike,
Very nice! Is there a difference between the newer mini's and the older ones?

    Drivr,
there are a couple of differnce's. they made the newer ones a little wider and the band has a bigger hinge to make it open wider. they used the same cooking grid which moves around more so thats why i cut the circle out of the cast iron grid
    happy cooking

    spike,
I don't have a mini, only an XL, and three larges; but looking at your mini, and the stand it makes me want one. That's a great looking set up. Did you make the stand , or did you purchase it? If you made it, what would you charge to make another one?
    Thanks
    Hammer

    guava wood,
the stool is a metal shop one with extensions on the legs.
