@fletcherfam ... I am going to gracefully bow out of the competition. I weighed in a bit ago and I am not as bad as I thought. I weighed in @ 187. Although I could still stand to drop a few pounds, I figure some of you other folks would "smoke" me in a weight loss competition.

The wife thought it was hysterical that I was emailing someone pictures of myself. Although likes the motivation it has given me... Heck im eating rice cakes and snacking on roasted seaweed.

Yea, the wife has already commented that my shirts are looking not as tight. She said "baggy" but I know she really meant I didn't look as much like a fat guy in a little shirt. :)

FYI, for those of you that don't know about it there is a website that has really helped me out called myfitnesspal.com you can track all your calories, exercies, water, etc. They also have apps for Android and Apple, really slick interface. You can search for any food you need (Restaurants, fast food, etc).

I'm officially unofficially competing. I don't have as much to lose and would get smoked, plus I don't want any evidence in the form of pictures out there. I've already commited to a more long term goal with slower results. Just got back from a short walk with the dogs. Didn't want to push it too much cuz I'm still a bit sick and my lungs haven't recovered. I will say that my starting weight is 217.8. Highest ever in my life and I'm not happy about that.

took pictures last evening, and took a picture of the scale. Forgot to bring the camera with me this morning to transfer the pics! I need this 10lbs more than i thought. I weighed in at 250.4 I will send the pics tonight

Oh, and the wife isn't exactly ecstatic. She doesn't need to lose anything and is worried that she's going to suffer through me. She said no way is she giving up ice cream, and I have to keep making pizza. This could be harder than I thought!

I'm with Griffin...I will roll right along with you guys unofficially. I had the annual cardio dr. visit yesterday and was at 235. I was the exact same weight as I was this time last year. So.....that means I am just as fat as I was last year! I don't take pics of myself because I believe, like the native Americans, that it steals my soul. But mainly, I havent figured out how to post pics here which is one "to learn" thing on my New Years list.

Good luck everyone! I have lost 20lbs in last 2-3 months and I plan on losing 15-20 more. I am in a job training program starting in 2 weeks that has PT everyday, 5 days a week. I can't wait to get to about 180.

@jayhawkeye , I make pizzas, just figure out how many calories it is and have a slice of pizza with a salad or a veggie side. We did that this weekend.
