Started champagne and orange juice at 9:00 eastern and we have two left outta seven. Didn't read any stinkin' destructions and we'll see how it goes. Ain't that hard. Merry Christmas bud!

i got a small egg/ nest...can't decide if I'm gonna keep it or return and get the PolySci unit. i'll probably keep the egg and just wait a couple weeks and buy the sous vide unit anyway.

Saw the SideKic last night on Amazon list price of $160, on sale for $100, but currently unavailable. Noticed today, no sale price. Still at $160, you could get 2-1/2 SideKics for the price of the Polysci Chef unit at $400.
Look forward to your thoughts on Friday after the steak cook on Thursday.

I bought myself the DIY PID controller for turning slow cooker into Sous Vide from Thermomart. Total cost $100.00 + 3 hours of manufacturing a waterproof box and figuring out the complex wiring and settings. I think it will work perfectly. Gratifying to get it all working properly, but If I had to do it all over again, I'd pay the 169.00 noted above which looks ready to go out of the box.
