Temp Control Systems

Does anyone have any experience with any of the bbq temperature control systems that are out there? I've been looking at some of the BBQ Guru systems, but would like to hear some user feedback. Any other systems out there which are noteworthy? Would appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

I have owned the Stoker or a few years and could not be happier....

I have been smoking for about 7 years and finally broke down and bought a DigiQ from BBQ Guru and love it. While the BGE will hold temp pretty well, it's really nice to have the Guru doing the work on those all night cooks. I dont use it on every cook but primarily on any cook i do below 300 or for longer than 3 hours. I went with the DigiQ because I didn't think I needed the ability to track my cook via WiFi although that's a nice option if you want it. There have been good reviews out there for other controllers like the Stoker and the Auben. This site is invaluable in finding out information and in depth comparisons to all of the temp control options out there: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/productreviews.htm. In addition, you can search on this site or on google for more info. Hope this helps and Go Bucks!!!!Clarendon Hills, IL

I also have a stoker and have been pretty happy with how rock steady it keeps the temp on my LBGE. I have been looking at the partyQ, only because I really like the simplicity and battery operated. No power cables.

I have been very happy with my party Q. Easy to set up and does its job. I paid $140 including the adapter. I purchased another adapter that works for both the small and the mini for an additional $25.When in doubt add more pepper.
