I bought a large green egg that I will keep on a wood deck. I bought a plate setter and that is it so far. I will not be baking any pies on the Egg, primarily be used for smoking pork/chicken and grilling steaks. Opinions on other accessories I should get and best place to get them (or just buy them at Green Egg dealer)?
Also, since it will be on a wood deck and I will do overnight cooks, I will probably get something to put under the Egg to catch any ash that gets out. Recommendations?
Also, for a cover, should I just get the Green Egg cover or is there something cheaper that will do the job?
Thanks in advance

I went out and bought some things I thought I was going to need and realized I really didn't need them like beer can chicken stands...don't need them once you've tried spatchcock. I also bought a salt block that I won't use any more. Best advice is go slow and you will figure out what you need and want.

Just start cooking and at some point you will know what you want.
