Italian sausage subs, with sausage grilled on the XL and then toasted in the bun.

  • Not sure I see the healthy but I do see the yummy! How long did you toast them in the bun? I'd be worried that by the time the cheese melted the bottoms would get too browned.

  • Just toasted for a few minutes, next time I'm going to put a half stone in to make an indirect spot.  The bottoms were not too dark, but I would have liked to have had them in longer so the cheese darkened a bit around the edges.
