I have made kale chips, but I have only used baby kale because it is very tender. Otherwise, kale goes in soup or braised in stock with garlic. I have never seen that variety of kale in our market.
mostly soups but colcannon is great with smoked ham and kale added instead of cabbage. just make the mash how you would normally, take some smoked ham and boil it til it starts to fall apart, add kale and cook a minute or two, drain and add to potatoes with butter
i didnt have a recipe so just took a pic of everything that went in. spices are not needed as everything is in the italian sausage with fennel for needed spice. basically cook alot of sausage, add garlic zuchini carrots and white beans, stewed tomatoes and broth and cook down, add the kale at the end. its a simple stew
