We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. Cherry wood table (lots of pics)

Here's some pics of the table my dad and I have been building all week while I'm visiting for thanksgiving. Not totally finished yet, but I'll be putting the polyurethane on tomorrow. It's been a great project for us to spend some time together and just give him something to do since he's retired now.

We're by no means master craftsmen, but I'm pleased with the results. I'll try to get a final pic tomorrow.

** Btw, We took this from whole tree to final product - we cut this lumber about 15 years ago with our wood mizer sawmill we used to own. Kinda neat seeing it go from tree to final form.
