Are most of y'all gonna FTC the turkey after taking it off the BGE?

  It's pretty easy to time. If you finish within an hour of the meal, you're good to go without FTC. Most turkey is served at room temp, anyway, warmed with gravy.

  FTC = Foil the meat wrap in towel and put in dry cooler. Foil towel cooler. Keeps food very warm for a long time.

  No FTC......just a  very loose tent of foil while it rests if done too early.

  Thx everyone, had it in the cooler for about a hour n a half and it was steaming hot when I broke it out. Successful first spatchcock turkey on the BGE!

  I put the ham in the cooler and cooked the turkey. That way you get the better skin.
