Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

Direct, raised grid 400-425 until 185-200 internal temp. Crispy and juicy!

  • Hornhonk beat me to it.

Drop by Ace Hardware and get a rack or two, they really turn out better.  Oh, and marinate overnight in Allegro Hot & Spicy.

Went indirect. Dizzy dust on half with Stubb's/honey mix. Dizzy venom with a LA hot sauce. Sorry, no pics....late for the game. We remain undefeated...14-0.

  • I use the same rack for wings and legs. I brush mine with a little olive oil then cover in DP shakin the tree put in bag for over night. Cook at 300 direct raised grate for 1 hour 15 min and they are delicious!!
