We'd love to send back to you many of our SoCal immigrants who began to arrive about 25 years ago, looking for cheaper housing, better, safer schools and neighborhoods, cleaner air, lower taxes etc. We'll even give many of them some gas money for the trip.

But you have to take back the gang bangers that they raised up once they arrived.

Yeah it sucks here, temp only got to 72 today, and the beach was kinda windy. I totally understand why you want to leave here, and tri tip wasn't even on sale this week. Sorry, I could go on and on, I lost one of my socks in the dryer, and Im just really frustrated. Life sucks

I hate the beach to be too windy. Sometimes sand blows into my Snooki Dark Tanning Maximizer (highly recommended by Snooki herself AND nolaegghead - see link below). I haven't lost a sock in a while because I mostly like to feel the rocks and sand as I walk the beach in rolled up Dockers. I did lose a pen last week. DAMN IT - WHERE DO THEY GO?! Maybe I could move to Somalia.....(happy dream!)

I don't know, I don't usually ask.

Just about every culture has been conquered, merged or (often forcibly) relocated at some point in their history. I'm just pointing out (tongue in cheek) that it would be illuminating to to be aware that most of us European immigrants are a diaspora with a history not unlike the history of the indigenous people, except they've been here tens of thousands of years and I'm pretty the last cycle in Utah was under 200 years ago.

I could drive out to Salt Lake City and buy a condo, decorate it with a Ikea furniture and declare myself indignant about Californian families moving into my neighborhood. Anyway, no snarkyness intended, just trying to keep it real.

Hate to say so but -that's the attitude that is destroying CA. Frog in a pot. Etc.

One day, you'll wake up -WTF? What happened? People died defending our freedoms. Sad thing.

I've lived in socialist countries - you can't just do what you want. If that's for you? Great.Enjoy it. The point of the post is - look what is happening in CA - be aware. If it's not for you in New Orleans or Austin Or Salt Lake City - don't let it happen because it will.
