Choice Packer Briskets - Central Texas

Trying to track down a choice packer brisket is way too difficult. Anyone know of places in central Texas, Waco/Temple, that sell choice packers? HEB once in a blue moon will have one but they claim it was sent on accident.

The PX at Ft Hood has Choice year round for $2 per pound.

sam's and costco are good for choice packers

I will call SAMs in the morning and see what they might have. The nearest Costco is an 1+ hours away.

I can get the packers at our business Costco.....the regular Costcos here sell only flats

Apparently if you send your better half to the store they will do the unthinkable. She had no problem getting them to order a choice packer brisket!

Went to pick up the briskest and they want $4.78lb which is highway robbery! I can have a prime brisket shipped to my front door for less.

$2 per pound at the commissary. I can pick one up and we can meet in Belton. I shop at the Belton HEB about once a week. This Sunday is good for me.

The commissary usually had 15 lb'ers or bigger. Sometimes they have 13's
