Alright, I've got everything setup in infrastructure mode and I'm able to login to the unit. I can change settings, re-boot it, etc. so I know I'm communicating with it. My problem is I'm getting error on the status of my probes. I'm getting no temperatures from the web browser. I'm getting temp readings on the cyberq itself.
Thoughts?

Make sure they are plugged in completely. I have to give them an extra little push.
-
What devices are you using to check your temps? If your using an iPad, iphone or anything iOS 6 you will not get updated uFranco Ceramic Grillworks www.ceramicgrillworks.com

Check Out BBQ Guru on the web. There is a message about this!!

Thanks. I'm not using ad hoc mode, but I checked on my iOS 5 phone and iPad and it works perfectly. The device that it wasn't working properly in is my iOS 6 iPad. Thanks for the help. I won't update these devices until there is a fix.

Download the google chrome app on your iPad and it'll work fine. This error occurs regardless of ad hoc or infrastructure mode.Franco Ceramic Grillworks www.ceramicgrillworks.com

Chrome worked!!! Thank you

I get to it fine long as I'm on my own network. I'm not getting it from outside, what would be causing that? Perhaps not having the port forwarding correct?
-
That's correct. 80 should be what the port forwarding is set toFranco Ceramic Grillworks www.ceramicgrillworks.com

I can't figure out what I don't have right. I'll keep working on it.

Seems like everything is ok.Franco Ceramic Grillworks www.ceramicgrillworks.com

So I should be able to type this IP address to get there, correct? Anything could be wrong on setup of cyberq?

This is why I said screw it and bought the DigiQ DX II )XL BGE - Small BGE - A few Komodo Kamado Serious Big Bad 42sFollow me on Instagram: @SSgt93

That's correct....from any device you enter that ip and you should connect right to the cyber interface. If your able to see it from your devices then the setup on the cyber side is correct.Franco Ceramic Grillworks www.ceramicgrillworks.com

Just still goes straight to login page for my router. I don't know what else to do at this point.
-
You have to turn on port forwarding on the router. The router doesn't know that you want the CyberQ and not the router itself. That way, when a request comes in to that ip, your router will forward the port 80 traffic to the CyberQ.Good luck.Small (hatched 6/13/2015)

Is the IP of the router and the cyber the same? 192.168.1.11 is a common router IP. Also do you have a static or dynamic ip, if are you trying to access from outside your own network and you have a dynamic IP outside access can be difficult at best.
-
Most routers' default IP address is 192.168.1.1

Buffalo, some of the dual channel d-link routers, and the combo cable modem, cable phone, router units used by time-warner / insight communication all use 192.168.1.11. I also found that my HP laser printer had this as the default IP unless advanced setup was chosen. The router will always take precedent in the event of duplicate IP address.
-
That may be true. However, if the router and CyberQ had the same IP address, he wouldn't be able to see the the CyberQ on his local (private) network. I suspect the port forwarding through the firewall isn't working.

My next question is why doesn't this device come with a battery option? Always having to have power near the egg is kind of a pain. I travel with my egg a good bit, and power is not always available.

You could always get an inverter if you're around a vehicle (or a battery) or something like this: http://carkart.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=16317597
