Sorry Little Steven but they started it. If you haven't tried Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout, give it a try. Only comes in a 4 pack but goes great with egg pizza after you have lit the egg for at least 40 minutes before your pizza cook. Noticed how I stayed on topic?

Did you flour the dough ? Burnt flour will give an odd taste . My first pizza had distinct after taste, haven't had it since . Only difference is not as much flour and I do clean burn it for a while before pizza now.Ova B.

Dude,
Totally joking here. Beer is always on topic for me. Just enjoying a pint of Kilkenny Irish Ale. It only comes in fours two but I got two packs and I'm only doing brats tonight. I have 24 Molson Canadian and an 8 pack o' Guinness as back up too. Do you guys get the pint cans with the "widget" yet?

I don't know if it is a gimmick but I don't buy the bottles anymore. We've had them for at least ten years

I'm gonna have to google this widget you speak of.

The British and Irish beers in pint cans have it here....that's a full 20 oz pint btw. Sheer heaven. It keeps the stouts and dark ales hyper fizzy. When you pour a pint it behaves exactly like a pulled pint from a pub.

Guinness is pressurized by nitrogen which doesn't dissolve in water (or beer) like CO2. So Guinness invented the widget to give the nitrogen a place to go. There's CO2 in there also, but the nitrogen bubbles give it that creamy texture.

I think I heard that before. I know you can't get Kilkenny down there but Bass or Newky brown behave the same way when you pour them. All opaque when you pour and it clarifies from the bottom to the head in the glass. A thing of beauty. Think I'll have another

Take a look at the bubbles in a freshly drawn glass of Guinness - they go down.
