Turkey Seasoning

Ok i am going to cook my first turkey tomorrow. I have spatchcocked it and it is uncovered in the refrigerator. I will probably cook it around 375 degrees direct on a raised grid unless you guys or girls have a better idea. What do you use to season your turkey. I am practicing for Thanksgiving.

I use coffee rubSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

I think this is the less popular of duplicate posts. See http://eggheadforum.com/discussion/1144488/turkey-seasoning#latest

I keep it simple. Salt, pepper and poultry seasoning, then use pecan wood for the smoke. The pecan gives it a nice brown skin and great flavor.__________________________________________It's not a science, it's an art. And it's flawed.- Camp Hill, PA
