Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
Get ready to turn up the heat as we dive into August. While there are only a few weeks left to perfect those tailgate recipes, summer isn’t over yet! Two things we’ll be making this month are Chile Rubbed Grilled Pork Chops and Bell Pepper Kabobs. Then, relax after a cookout with a cool dessert cooked on your EGG - Ice Cream Sandwiches! You can mix and match your favorite cookie flavors with ice cream flavors. Simple, yet delicious!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

How many folks here were foodies/cooks pre egg?

  • Just what I expected. Lowest common denominator :))

As denominatours go, the lowest is my favourite.

Man,Love you like my brother. However, had T-Day tonight and multiple wines and beers. I have no right competing in this arena. Gary is a good guy all the same. I don't care what everybody else says

    Great book.
I laughed so hard I was crying when I read that.  "You Can't Kill the Rooster" still my favorite chapter.

I actually have to get up at 4 am to go sell pants so we'll have to make it quick. No snuggling with TFJ after I am gone. Sorry.

  • Grilling began at 18 when I moved into my own place and Dad gave me his old Structo grill with the rotating grid and 1/2 cover with rotisserie.  Being a professional foodie began when I was 29 (35 years ago) and began working as a maintenance mechanic for one of the largest food manufacturers in the USA and an Egghead about 2 years ago when I got my XL.  As said by Jerry Garcia, "What a long strange trip it's been,"  I didn't learn a lot about grilling or barbecue from work, but food safety is an extreme priority and I was taught plenty about that.
