  • I suggest that this is a great time to kill this thread.

There will be no universal agreement and things will only get hot.

Let's keep this a friendly forum.  OK ?

Let's just pretend that this was a white neighborhood watch guy that lives in your neighborhood and the kid that was shot is a white kid that also lives in your neighborhood coming back home from the store and take out all the racial overtones.

Sounds like what it should be. I know there is a percentage of people that have racial problems, but I would think race would only be brought into the fray when it becomes an issue. For example, I witnessed a kid being beat up last year. I called 911, the first question was "what color are they", not what are they wearing, or where are they? As a society, we should be way beyond racial issues. If you want to hate somebody, get to know them and you will have valid reasons! The color of their skin should not be one of them for anybody.

Sorry to offend anybody if I brought up a controversial name. I can find others to use in the future that don't get the air time with the roles reversed if it makes anybody feel better..... (it does not for me). @-)

In the wiki link you provided, it is explained at the bottom in the "other uses" section. Since we are in a thread about guns I figured it would be an easy catch. Maybe it is just my sense of humor!

  • My guns are all in the safe. I think I'll start keeping a rock under the bed. Just have to find the right size. Too light is ineffective. Too heavy and my arm for a ride with the rock.
