Prepping ribs for today and open the pack to find the membrane already removed on all three racks...this is new for me. Anyone else finding this to be the case?

Yes, bought a package last week in Bellingham Wa, went nuts trying to get the silver off of the first one until I realized there wasn't any, it was before my second cup of coffee and reading your post...Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

strange, this is first time I've not had to remove it. Clearly they use different processors, which makes total sense considering they are a major retailer (or wholesaler if you look at them that way) -
This is costcos selling point on ribs. All membrane is removed, it makes the job much easier!

well apparently my Costco is now up to speed with this selling point. -
Sometimes a pain to remove the membrane, would be great to find them without.

I guess I'll have to check this out. It's always been a hit or miss for me. Usually, I have to pull the membrane. Maybe now they are pulling them all the time? Maybe the membrane has found a use in cheap bacon.XL BGE - Large BGE - Small BGE - Traeger Lil' Tex Elite - Weber Smokey Joe
