Hi All,

Going to use my new Adjustable Rig setup to cook some ribs this weekend - 250 using 3-1-1- method.  But the wife would like some chicken quarters added to the cook.  Any idea when I should add them to the mix so all is done as same time?  Anybody else mix the two?  Thanks.

If I were trying to do this, I would put the chicken on about an hour before the ribs were done.  The ribs if they finish early, can be FTC'd until the chicken finishes.  It would be better to have the ribs finish before the chicken than vice versa.

I cook ribs and chicken quartets often.
    Indirect at 220
    Ribs for five hours
    Pull chicken after four hours.
Spray ribs with apple cider vinegar and apple juice every 20 minutes for the last hour.
So far both have been very good.
When in doubt add more pepper.

Reporting back in!  I ended up putting the chicken on at the 3 hour mark, so when I foiled the ribs.  All came out great.  Thanks.
