He was great with Crazy Horse.

He was on fuse last night doing a live concert and rocked it! Dave grohl and Dan from the black keys played with him on rocking in the free world. Great concert and Neil still jams even if he is a Canuck :-\"

  • Don't you just hate the Canadians. With this hockey lockout nobody has anything to talk about. Talk about the Zombie Apocolypse

Canadians are by far the nicest people I have ever met. I'm not far from myrtle beach and go down there 4-5 times a year to play golf. Have met several Canadians down there and have yet to meet a prick. Guess tweeve doesn't play golf or you guys you don't let him out of the country! ;) I don't follow hockey to closely but I imagine its going to be a rough year for a lot of people. There was some hockey buzz here in nc with the Staal brothers playing together but that may have to wait a year.

Dave Grohl is amazing saw him with the Foo Fighters last year, AMAZING!  He even drummed for the opening band for about 1/2 of their set (Cage the Elephant) he has to be one of the most talented musicians in the last 20 years.  Also saw the black keys and it was unreal would just be better if I didn't have to see these shows in Salt Lake City.

I didn't realise that Jared Staal is in the Canes system as well.

  • Mr. Young is a true original. An artist who releases his music on his own terms he has stood the test of time in the rock'n roll world. From Rick and the Mynah Birds in 60's Toronto to Buffalo Springfield, CSNY, and various Neil
Young projects. Left Winnipeg for 'Elle-eh' driving a hearse - how COOL is that? 'Rocking the free world'

I'll have to check that out.

  • Most folks don't realise that The Band was Canadian. Levon (RIP) was from Arkansas but the rest were Canucks. They formed in Toronto with Ronnie Hawkins Hawks, then went to be Dylan's band and formed as "The Band" after that.

Oh man you have missed so much since 1979. Beyond his rock'n roll high life what about his humanitarian lifestyle developing a school for autistic children as per his son - and prototype clean fuel automobiles? Look beyond.....

  • Not knocking the guy. He has has made serious contributions in his life. His music has transcended many different gendres. We are pretty proud of him here. The coke boogers were funny though

Coke boogers are not funny...they're hilarious!  I'm still laughing at the mental picture.

Love the coke boogers comment. Hell I would imagine 90% or more great rockers had them, especially back in the day. Just because you do a little blow doesn't mean you can't be a good person.

Saw him with Crazy Horse at the greatest venue in America.  Red Rocks in Colorado.  There is clearly a reason he is one of the greatest rock and rollers of all time.  I actually can not understand how some folks can;t appreciate him.
