No pics, it all has to happen too fast compared to low and slow.

Bought a pack of four New York strip steaks from Costco. USDA Prime. Brought the LBGE up to 550F dome with the grate sitting on the fire ring. Threw various spices on the steaks and pressed them in with a spoon.

Threw the steaks on and after 90 seconds rotated them 90 degrees to get grill marks. Flipped them after another ninety and rotated again after another ninety. Pulled them and measured IT, which was running 100-110F.

Threw in the CGS AR with stone and finished them indirect to 125F IT and served with a cold beer, grilled onions and mushrooms, and a dinner salad. They were perfect, best steaks ever!
