Weekend Butts
Options
Hope these pics actually appear. Anyway, family went away for the weekend and I was alone with my egg calling my name. Decided to finally try an overnight cook with my new egg and new bbq guru. Started at 8 pm on Saturday and ended 16 hrs later on Sunday at 1 pm. Turned out perfect!! The egg, the guru and the wicked good charcoal are a great threesome[p]Howard[p]

Howard,
What was ur setup?
-
jj,[p]I maintained a dome temp of 260-275 with the guru. Plate setter w/feet up, drip pan, foiled both of them and the 2 butts on the grate. Don't do anything else other than sleep and then after I mow the lawn the next day (after 16 hrs) I take them off and start shreading with knife and fork. [p]Howard
