Not the best source for knives, because I do not know anything about what makes a good knife, I get by with a gifted set of Henckels and a Rapala fillet knife.
On the pizza peel, if you are using it on your egg, check out the aluminum baking sheets that have no lip on at least one side, You can buy a 16" wide one for <$10. They look like this set:
No handle (you are not dealing with a narrow mouthed deep pizza oven anyway) to get in the way and they are a breeze to clean. I have a peel, but ever since I borrowed (stole one of these from my wife's stash, the peel is collecting dust, and it is a good one.
Legally, it's questionable; Morally, it's disgusting; Personally, I like it.
Don't get set into one form, adapt it and build your own, and let it grow, be like water. Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup... Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend. - Bruce Lee
I just bought a peel yesterday from my local restaurant supply store. Aluminum flat and composite handle for $14.00. Looks like it will last a long time.

The only knives I use these days are the Victorinox knives. The 6" curved boning knife is the best affordable knife I've ever had my hands on, and for sub $30, it's a flat out steal.
The BGE Pizza Peel is nice, it'll hold quite a bit of weight before bowing. Not sure what you want to spend, but you can find some epic pizza peels at restaurant supply stores! I cook pizza a lot, but not enough to upgrade the BGE peel I got a couple years back.
