The endless quest for variety under constraint. Turkey sausage marinated in Dichickos Garlic. Inside green beans, onion, pepper, and mushrooms sauteed in EVOO with garlic, sea salt, and pepper, .
Sausage done raised grid at 400 and tended and turned a lot.
I thought this was well on its way to fail, but was actually pretty good. Not what you make for special company, and certainly not like a good Italian sausage, but for a constrained weekday cook I will call it a success.

I would imagine the marinade would have a tough time penetrating the casing.Ever thought of injecting the sausage?Edit: wait, that doesn't sound right.Bx - > NJ ->TX!!!All to get cheaper brisket!

Interesting, never had turkey sausage before. I'm guessing a bunch healthier, was it worth it? Always looking for ways to eat a bit healthier.

The marinade did penetrate. I was curious to see if it had any effect. This is not as good as real sausage, sort of tastes like turkey burger. It is just an alternative within the limits of what we're trying to eat.

i would not assume turkey or chicken sausage is all that healthy. I was buying some chicken sausage from the grocery store assuming it was lower in fat. It was, but by like 2 grams per link. Not enough savings to make up for the lack of taste. Plus it had increased sodium levels.
