  • Now that is Texas sized. ;) Thanks for the recipe.
Large, small and mini SW Austin
  • Tell me more about how they were cooked/smoked.
Born and raised in NOLA. Now live in East TN.
  • Smoked indirect at 300-325 for about 1.5 hours or so until they hit 160 degrees.

I kept a foil pan on top of my placesetter and underneath the balls so I didn't have a bunch of grease dropping.

Originally, I was going to put my sauce in these pans and let the grease "Flavor" the sauce...but I decided that would add flavor, but just make for a greasy sauce.

This thread fired an old synapse in my brain, haven't heard this tune in almost 30 years:

  • Good looking comfort food
  • It's like your own personal meatloaf. Looks good. :)

I was thinking the same thing. :)
  • That is the ugliest looking pasta plate I have ever seen, yet so absolutely unique, cute and great looking!
What a meal to talk over! Can't wait to try this, my grandkids will love it.

    Thanks for sharing..
