Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

Seems there is a new player in the Kamado grill game. These look pretty interesting. They are trying to get the best of both world between a Kamado and a Traeger

The color is nice. Personally do not want pellet burners.

Spec Sheet says max temperature is 650°.

Yeah, and did it say 15 min to sear at 500? He He. =))

    Makes me smile.

I think the Egg can "smoke" this one.

  • Can't imagine having to plug my smoker in!

Large BGE, 2 Tier Adjustable Swing Rack System, three (3) bricks from Home Depot for raised direct - Finally have a decent table!

  • I had a Bradley smoker for awhile.  It never did achieve the results that a BGE or offset smoker would.  I ended up just making jerky with it.

I don't want any cooker that I have to buy a manufacturer's special fuel to cook with it.
